ACTS: Speaking Louder than Words

Should Christians look totally different from other people? That may sound strange to some of you and it may even sound like a bad goal, but the Bible tells us that we should be different. We should look different, think and act differently, and we should live differently as well. One of my favorite passages in the Bible says:

Do everything without grumbling or arguing,15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” Philippians 2: 14-15

Christians shining among them (the rest of the world) like stars (bright lights) in the sky sounds pretty different to me!

This Sunday we begin a brand new series called “ACTS: Speaking Louder than Words.”  In this study on the Book of Acts, we’ll see how God intends for His church to stand out and be different from the rest of the world while they share the truth about Jesus Christ with others.  I hope you’re able to join us this Sunday at 8:15, 9:30 or 11:00am.  Think about how we can be different and live with God’s plan and purpose in mind, and think about someone you can invite to join you at Wildwood this Sunday!  Be a Star!

See you this Sunday!
